INGREDIENTS
- 1000 ml (4 cups) brown sugar
- 225 g (½ lb) butter
- 500 ml (2 cups) corn syrup
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 250 ml (1 cup) cold water
PREPARATION
- In a saucepan, bring the brown sugar, butter and corn syrup to a boil. Cook without stirring for 5 minutes. Off the heat, add the sweetened condensed milk and cold water. Mix well. Watch out for splattering.
- Transfer into containers and let cool completely.
